Incredibly Enchanting

This is just a treasure of human culture. I first heard this sound as part of the soundtrack to the Japanese anime film “Ghost In The Shell”. I remember it feeling haunting and powerful. Placed against the futuristic metropolitan setting, the voices felt decidedly human, expressing a yearning for the spiritual connection we have with nature and ourselves.

I don’t really have the cultural context to be able to talk about where this music comes from, but when I listen to this music it makes me feel a very unique way. No other music makes me feel the way I do when listening to this!

• “The Evening Gathering” - has some crazy vibrato tricks. The lead vocal is hypnotizing!

• the surround tones are so “deep”

Do yourself a favor and dig into this incredibly unique treasure of music and culture. I can’t recommend it enough! If you love this as much as I do, I also recommend watching this performance live. At the end, they talk a little more about the group and how they get their sound.
